Kit Contents
Precision components,
clinical flexibility.
Each kit contains everything needed to transfer the Madglove Assist mechanism into any custom orthosis.
Mounting Module
Pre-assembled assist wheel + centre point in triangular baseplate
Finger Sets
Connect the system to patient fingers via tension cables
Knuckle Sliders
Precise alignment with each MCP knuckle position
Reinforcement Plate
Padded plate distributes load on the underside of orthosis
Chicago Screws ×3
Secure the mounting module through the orthosis shell
Centre Point Plug
Reinforces finger sleeves to the centre point connection
How to Install
Five simple steps to
full integration.
01
Select mounting location
Check that kit is complete, Choose a location on the dorsal forearm just proximal to the wrist — where the orthosis provides maximum structural stability while preserving wrist movement. Make sure to mark the screw hole positions
02
Create mounting holes
Punch three holes through the orthosis shell. Recommended hole diameter is 5mm for a precise, secure fit.
03
Mount the wheel on the orthosis
Depending on the type of orthosis used. Place the padded reinforcement late on the inside with the padding facing the users skin for comfort. Secure the mounting module using the three included screws. Punch three holes through the orthosis shell.
04
Install the knuckle sliders, and thumb attachment if needed
Attach the knuckle sliders on the part of the orthosis that aligns with the MCPs. It is possible to sew this in if using a textile orthosis.
05
Loop through the finger sleeves
Loop the selected finger sleeves through the sliders and central point of the mounting module
Step 01
Select mounting location
Compatibility
One kit,
any orthosis.
Because the Madglove Assist mechanism is fully transferable, it can be integrated into virtually any custom orthosis.
WHO
Wrist-Hand Orthosis
Standard prefabricated or custom wrist-hand orthoses. Module mounts on the dorsal forearm surface with minimal modification.
Compatible
WHFO
Wrist-Hand-Finger Orthosis
Full hand orthoses providing wrist and finger support. Cable routing integrates naturally with existing finger channels.
Compatible
DHO
Dynamic Hand Orthosis
Dynamic orthoses designed for active movement. The Assist mechanism complements existing dynamic components.
Compatible
Hybrid
Hybrid Hand Orthosis
Rigid and textile hybrid designs. The mounting module attaches to the rigid dorsal section with standard hardware.
Compatible
3D Print
Custom 3D Printed Orthosis
Custom 3D printed orthoses can be designed with pre-planned mounting holes for seamless integration.
Compatible
Carbon
Carbon Fibre Orthosis
Lightweight carbon fibre shells. The Chicago screw system creates a secure mechanical bond with the composite material.

Notice
Any braces shown are for demonstration purposes only. Orthotists and CPOs should fabricate a custom orthosis according to their clinical judgement.
